As an architecture student and designer, my main focus is on finding a personal connection with the client, and starting the design from there.

In an age of digitalisation and urbanisation, I try to bring the human connection back into design, and reconnect with nature, wherever possible.

Own company
I recently started this company after receiving some request for visualisations and measuring in buildings. I translate my skills from university into real life, for a affordable price. All visualisations are visually of professional quality, but should only be used for presentation and design purposes.

Here I learned valuable lessons regarding team work, reaching out to other companies, organising volunteers & catering and managing a tight budget.

Loos van Vliet
Internship
Internship at a urban planning, landscape and architecture firm. I had the opportunity to attend municipality meetings, design briefings, and much more. My main task where smaller design elements & visualisations for the customer. My personal main take away is knowlegdge on what it takes, also visually, to drive home an architectural idea for a client.

Bachelor: Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences
Eindhoven University of Technology
During the bachelor my main focus was on architecture & urbanism. Having the knowledge to design from both scales is very important to me. Furthermore I took a specialization in working with light, and its effect on the human biology.
I also did a board year at a sports association as a chairman, to improve my leadership capabilities. There I restructured the finances, learned how to organise bigger events and learned how to enjoy taking responsibility.
2015-2017
Propedeuse: Build Enviroment
Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HBO)
Learned the basics of analysing buildings, detailing, designing and (3D) modelling. Built up my skills in Revit, AutoCad and SketchUp. After a first year, decided to choose the architecture specialization in the start of the 2nd year. Decided that it didn’t meet my expectations, and worked to switch to a architecture study at the University of Eindhoven.
2009-2015
High school: HAVO
Rudolf Steiner College
A high school which also focused on other aspects of life, such a craftmanship with wood & metal, and a connection to nature with horticulture. Followed math and physics at VWO level, and later (outside of high school) obtained a certificate at VWO level for both of them.
